What is Speech Therapy?

When your child is learning how to speak.They may have trouble pronouncing sounds and words. Even though it is natural for your child to miss pronounce a word or two. But if this is happening multiple times a day. It might be time to check if they need speech therapy.
Where to find a speech therapist?
Speech therapists can be found in private practice, schools, and medical facilities. For your child you are able to get assessment with a speech therapist through the school your child goes to or private practice. There will be an assessment to see if your child needs speech therapy. And if so, there will be ongoing sessions for that.
